St. Helena's Employees making their mark.

The Gift of Giving

St. Helena Hospital Employees play an essential role in advancing our mission of excellence in patient care.

Each employee has a unique part to play in providing patients with the best experience possible. For over two decades, employees have given back to the Hospital to help fund patient care services, technology and capital projects. Employee Giving  is a convenient way for staff to make tax-deductible gifts year-round to support the causes most personally meaningful to them.

Time and again, I am reminded by staff, patients, and their families that our most incredible asset at St Helena's is our employees. They are our fervent supporters, engaged in many ways, through hard work, kindness, or philanthropy. I LOVE working with our staff and am grateful to be part of this team.
- Patty Hsu, RN, BSN, CCRN Director of Clinical Care

Employee Giving Options:

Early on in my career I discovered the importance of philanthropy. There are people - co-workers, family, patients, who need help every day. I give back to take care of those around us.
- Peggy O’Neill Director of Admitting

Ultimately, it’s not what you give to or the amount that matters most

What matters the most is that you choose to give in a way that is meaningful to you. You can designate your contribution to New Patient Hospital Beds or a variety of other funds.

Employee Campaign Funding Areas:

  • New Patient Hospital Beds
  • Orthopedics
  • Heart & Vascular Services
  • Family Birth Center
  • Martin-O’Neil Cancer Center
  • Emergency Services
  • Employee Assistance Fund
  • Lifestyle Medicine Institute/TakeTEN Program
  • Specific Program of Choice
As employees, we experience the fruit of our incredibly philanthropic neighbors. We also dig deep because we believe serving others is a part of their healing. Giving turns words into action.
- Mike Dunn, DMin, BCC Director of Spiritual Care
